Founder, Director, and Executive Producer
Victor has over 15 years of experience in the creative media industry and has worked as a full-time photojournalist for the New York Daily News covering the greater New York area, as well as having credits in the Wall Street Journal and New York Post.
In the mid-2000s, he became proficient in remote control fixed-wing aircraft, which were much more difficult to control than today’s advanced drones.
His aerial film of New York City in 2014 has garnered over a million views across the internet, as well as Official Selections from film festivals. It was featured in numerous international news outlets such as The New York Times, TIME, BBC, The Verge, Gothamist, Business Insider, Gizmodo, and more.
In 2015, his film on Nova Scotia, Canada graced the pages of Halifax Examiner and CBC Canada, producing a significant number of views on YouTube.
The DC Drone Film Festival crowned him as the winner of the short category in 2017 for his “dronie”, a selfie taken with a drone, filmed at Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland.
The Blue 2 Blue Drone Film Festival in Australia selected his photo of the Cliffs of Moher as an Official Selection in 2019 - the second time his work was recognized by this festival.
In 2020, Sky Tech One’s YouTube channel surpassed the 1 million mark in total views. Peerspace named Victor one of the 8 best drone videographers shooting aerial cinematography in New York City.
In 2021, his film of Jiu Zhai Gou National Park in the Sichuan Province of China amassed over 300,000 views and is considered one of the best videos of the national park. That year, ST1 was also featured in TimeOut and PIX 11 his FPV direction for the New York Public Library. He was also a featured as a drone expert on PIX 11’s story on a possible UFO sighting in New Jersey.
In 2022, he was featured in The Drones World blog for his viral achievements in FPV and Baruch College’s Alumni Magazine
In 2024, Sky Tech One produced a video on how the non-profit Children’s Aid battled chronic absenteeism in schools, which was live-streamed by the White House.
Victor graduated from Baruch College with a major in marketing and a minor in photography. He has also worked extensively as a cinematographer on a number of short and feature indie films as well as being the former Chief Creative Officer of a visual media mobile app startup. He is FAA Part 107 certified. He is an avid listener of music, a car enthusiast, and a YouTuber focused on drones, tech, and travel.
Nora
Producer
Nora is a German-American producer who is currently pursuing her MBA at Stern School of Business. The various film projects she has worked on have taken her to three different continents and have gained recognition at film festivals around the world. Nora strives to tell stories that convey emotion and understanding in a creative and unique manner.
She believes that Drone videography has great potential for storytelling and enjoys exploring the various ways aerial images can help companies stand out and films impress by being highly immersive while also capturing the big picture.
In her free time she enjoys cycling, watching sports and traveling.
Vlad
Drone Pilot and Videographer
Vlad is an accomplished cinematographer and drone pilot specializing in documentary, fiction, short, and feature films. He brings his unique vision and problem solving to his work having lived in two opposite systems of communism and capitalism.
His short films "No Pizza Sandy" (2013), “Rice” (2014), "Energy 11105" (2014), "A Night with a Stranger" (2016), for were his first award wins and have been screened at international film festivals.
In 2014 he collaborated with Alex Vetrov and directed, produced, shot, and edited the award-winning short fiction film “Waiting for a Train” featuring actress Natalya Rudakova.
His cinematography and aerial cinematography won him an award for the short film "Kaddish" (2019) by Razid Season. That same year, he worked on “Gateways to New York: Othmar H. Ammann and His Bridges”, a feature-length documentary by Martin Witz.
His aerial drone cinematography credits include: “Archipelago New York” – a feature-length documentary film by Thomas Halaczinsky (2020). In 2020, Vlad & Victor shot aerial footage of New York City for “Legacy,” a feature-length documentary by filmmaker and environmental activist Yann Arthus-Bertrand. In the same year, Vlad won the Best Cinematography award for the feature film “Used and Borrowed Time” by Sophia Romma.
Vlad has an M.F.A in Media Arts Production from the City College of New York and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Belarusian State Technological University. He is FAA Part 107 certified.
