Victor and his pilots all hold the FAA Part 107 License. Victor is insured for up to $1,000,000 by default and he and his pilots can be covered up to $5 million in insurance at an additional fee. Sky Tech One charters helicopter companies who are also licensed and insured.

Our smaller drones, such as the Mavic 2 Pro can be set up in as little as a few minutes. Our Inspire 2 takes around 5 minutes to set up in optimal conditions and up to ten minutes in areas with more interference.
However, any drone may take more time (5-15 minutes) due to signal or electro-magnetic interference - this happens typically on rooftops.
-
It is possible, in certain situations, that we cannot launch our drone due to interference in a certain area. We suggest that we try other locations.
-
We recommend a helicopter if you need to fly over buildings, cover many locations in a short amount of time, or need to fly very fast.
Drones go up to a maximum speed of around 30-40 mph so when high up, the movement will appear slow. Helicopters can go much faster so if you’re high up, shooting appear “normal” speed.

A dual operator set up allows for one pilot to control only the drone and the second operator to control the camera, which moves independently from the drone. The dual operator setup is for more complex shots such as when a drone is following behind a moving subject then swings around to be in front of it. This also gives the shot a more “cinematic” feel.
